Lynn's trip:  Yesterday I went with a garden club group to the Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boylston, MA.  It's an awe-inspiring 132-acre hilltop center with multiple garden areas covering every aspect of gardening and gardening styles—lots of good ideas.  They had plants for sale!  My weakness, but I only bought three.  When we arrived, we had a wonderful tour given by the executive director, no less.  Fascinating.  He's been involved since they bought the property about 25 years ago.  After the tour, we had an excellent lunch on the terrace at Twig's Cafe overlooking their spectacular view.  Somehow, I managed to leave my camera at home (!!!), but please go to the Tower Hill website and see the pictures I should have taken!

Feature: Similes (fine as frog's hair).  More wordplay.
