Sarah, Alex and Addy were here Friday and Saturday. We had a wonderful busy time mowing the lawn, canoeing, lying in a hammock, and going to the beach. Addy is starting to use words: "baba" for baby, and "yan-yan" for "I should like to have some of that delicious-looking snack bar to eat, please," or anything else she wants to communicate. I did another gig with the Anne Thomas jazz quartet—this time for the Harrisville old-home days celebration. Harrisville is a beautiful, small, old mill town about 40 minutes from here. Feature: a white Black Bear. Other animals. Quote for the Day: "I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members." - Groucho Marx |
