We got a new digital camera—the Sony DSC-H2 with 6.0 megapixels and a ×12 zoom. Sunday we had a party for families from church with young children. (See pictures 1, 2, 3, 4.) We set up a small swimming pool for the kids; it got used mostly as a reservoir for their water cannons! (See pictures 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.) It was great to see the guests create their own activities. The older girls spent some time in the den playing "library" with the 10' × 10' bookshelves. At the end of the day I conducted canoe tours of the beaver pond. (See pictures 1, 2, 3, 4.) Feature for the day: Ernest Vincent Wright wrote a 42-chapter book without the letter "e." Here's the first chapter. Quote for the day: "All those who believe in psychokinesis raise my hand." - Steven Wright |
