The wildflowers are at their peak in our fields.  Here is New England aster, calico aster, goldenrod, swamp smartweed, and rose of Sharon.  A leopard frog was sitting on some lattice.
On Monday we had lunch at the Sidetrax Cafe, the family restaurant in Greenfield that we eat at once or twice a week.
The fall semester of the Souhegan Valley Chorus has begun.  We were overwhelmed by guests—20 compared to 32 returning members.
Sarah and the kids visited yesterday.  Alex and Addy got rides in the sled—harder pulling with no snow!

Feature for the day:  The wonder tug!

Quote for the day"If a man is standing in the middle of the forest speaking and there is no woman around to hear him, is he still wrong?" - George Carlin
