As I was folding up a tarp, I saw something
smaller than a mouse scurry under some pine needles. What furry
thing could be that small? It turned out to be a Least
Shrew, the smallest of mammals (about 1.5 inches long here). Feature for the day: Manson, NH in the fall (a couple years ago). More art photos. Quote for the day: "We have seen the enemy, and he is us." — Pogo |
