On Sunday Joan Miller had church members over to her house for a fall party.  A beautiful portrait of her daughter hangs just next to the dining room.
One job hangs on another.  To convert the barn to a garage, I have to clean out the barn.  But to have place to store the barn stuff, I needed to build shelves in the basement workshop.
The rising sun back-lit some red Virginia Creeper going up a tree.  The wild turkeys seem to be our resident flock.  Lynn caught two of them on a fence rail.  The pine trees are shedding many needles, and the hemlocks are developing small pinecones.

Feature for the day: Twenty-five percent of shortened words are two syllables ending in "o"— like "ammo" for "ammunition."
