As I sleep out on the screened porch, I occasionally hear coyotes and owls.  Here's a barred owl calling in the distance and getting an answer (last high pitch).
On Wednesday we went to visit Sarah and the grandkids. Steve has really renovated the house, and they've put it on the market.  Addy is changing the fastest and gets the most pictures taken.  At one point, Addy entertained herself by dumping paperclips out of a container and putting them back in.  You can hear a little "work song" she sings.
After the heavy rain Wednesday night, I woke up hearing a waterfall nearby.  On investigating, I found the beaver had built a new dam upstream of the big one.  Half the enjoyment of water is looking at it; the other half is hearing it.
On one of the trails Snowy and I hike, we pass a large, lichen-covered granite boulder.  Ah, New England!
