I slid into a tree with the Nissan Sentra and totaled it (nobody was hurt).  So we've got a new car now—sooner than we planned.  It's a black Hyundai Elantra, and it handles even better than the Nissan—good suspension, tight steering, and peppy acceleration.  And it has ABS brakes, which the Nissan didn't have.  The interior is nice with red, white, and blue instrument lights and controls that are laid out simply.  It's a lot of car for the money.
With deep snow, the red squirrels have dug a network of tunnels around the base of the bird feeders.  They dive down into one hole and pop up in another.  The snow slowly slides off our metal roof. It extended more than a foot before it broke off and fell.  I walk Snowy to a crest in the road from which we can see Winn Mt.
