Blossoms and green sprouts are coming out now.  The pear trees are in bloom, daffodils are out, fiddlehead ferns are unwinding, and the potted oxalis has as many blossoms as leaves.  Another sign of spring is the peepers down by the river.  A couple nights ago I heard a turkey answering an owl's call.  Beaver came 70 yards from the brook, cut down five saplings, and dragged them back to the brook.
Lynn and I spent some time with Matt, Crystal, and River last week.  Lynn takes most of the pictures, so I get in the photos more often.  Monday this week Lynn visited Sarah, Alex, and Addy, spending some time at a play-
ground.  Saturday this week, they came here to do some frog hunting (pics 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5). The last picture is the stealthy escape while the kids ate lunch.
