We have a wet basement at times, but if we can keep boxes off the floor, we can use the basement for some storage.  So I'm building two sets of shelves; each is four 2' × 8' shelves high, for a total of 128 ft² of storage.
    Yesterday the Anne Thomas quartet played jazz at the Peterborough farmers' market.  Anne has a couple compositions to her quartet/quintet.  Here the "Two Jims" provide the chord back-up, and sometimes she has a piano and a trumpet. 
    A flock of turkeys marched through our yard again this morning.  The clematis is blooming on our arbor.  Here's a close-up.
